 The Master Builders Association of Victoria have named Menzies Creek resident Devin Grant the State’s top apprentice at the 2011 State Apprentice of the Year Awards on Thursday night (6 May 2011).

A joint BICCIAB/CPSISC industry breakfast was held in Melbourne on the 31st of March to hear from Sam Sheppard and Peter Hinton from buildmore and Kym Peake the Deputy Secretary of Skills Victoria. Sam and Peter last year undertook a project to build a home that was designed, constructed and materials supplied predominately by women.
