Is your occupation on the National Skills Needs List?
The National Skills Needs List includes qualifications that the Federal Government have deemed to be in a National skills shortage. This allows those who are in an apprenticeship to access federal government grants like 'Tools for your trade'. Occupations on the list include bricklayer, carpenter, joiner, drainer, fibrous plasterer, gasfitter, general plumber, mech services plumber, painter and decorator, roof plumber, roof tiler, signwriter, solid plaster, stonemason, wall and floor tiler.
